IPOH: The wife of slain Special Branch Corporal and her male friend were charged at the Magistrate's court here with murdering the policeman two weeks ago.
Housewife Norsahili Ahmad, 34, and Muhamad Nizam Mohd Idrus, 32, were jointly charged with killing Kpl Abdul Rahman Sungib between 1am and 5.30am on May 31.
The offence was said to have taken place at the policeman's house at No 19, Hala Chepor, Taman Chepor Raya in Chemor, near here.
No plea was recorded from both accused.
The two, who were unrepresented, were charged under Section 302 of the Penal Code, which was read together under Section 304 of the same Act.
Deputy Public Prosecutor Muhamad Anas Mahadzir asked for two months' postponement pending the completion of a chemist report.
Magistrate Radzilawatee Abdul Rahman fixed Aug 17 for the case to be re-mentioned.
